Do I need previous experience to join A-List Casting?

No, it is not necessary because not all roles in productions require previous experience. We love dependable new talent. If you want extra work, many production companies will not require that you have had any previous experience -- they may be just looking for the right face for the right part. Of course, A-List Casting recommends that you consider training in your chosen field if you want to pursue a particular path in the industry. Once you work on a project, you should immediately update your resume. Though you can work whether or not you have experience, obviously the more experience you have the more opportunities will come your way. |
Does it matter where I live, or what if I live in a small town where no productions are being filmed?

No, these days production companies film on location all over the United States. |
How much does it cost to join?

A-List Casting is FREE of CHARGE. So there are no risks to take. We get paid by our clients, not the talent. |
What type of talent are you looking for?

Productions call for such a wide variety of talent, we need to be able to supply them with the talent they need accordingly. So we need males and females of all ages and ethnicities -- we need everyone! |
What kind of pictures do I need?
|
We recommend you use both head shots and full body shots, with a variety of different looks. This enhances your chances of being chosen by a Producer/Director who is searching for a particular look. Although you do not need professional photos to get started, we recommend you consider having them done as soon as you are able to do so. They will definitely increase your chances of being chosen by casting personnel. If you don't have professional photos, you can use snapshots, just be sure they are of good quality. |
Who will have access to my profile?

Only A-List Casting will have access to your personal profile, but your pictures will be seen by all clients. However, A-List Casting does not give out any personal contact information to casting personnel or anyone else. It is important that you always keep your details up-to-date and current with us (including email address, phone, fax, and addresses) so that you can be contacted quickly and make sure you get back to the casting personnel promptly. |
How do I sign up?

Take a few snapshots or digiital pictures of yourself from head to toe and a close up, which is usually from the neck to the top of your head. (Please don't send any candid shots of yourself with friends or family.) You can either email these pictures to info@alistcasting.com or mail them to the address above.
Also, include your contact information: address, home phone number, cell number and work number. (Sometimes we call in a rush and see if you can be at a shoot the next day so we need to get a hold of you ASAP)
We will also need your dress shirt size (if you're a male please include neck and arm length), t-shirt size, shoes, pant size, height, weight and dress size for woment.
We will then keep you on file and alert you for upcoming auditions that you may be suitable for.
